pfSense requires at least 128 megabytes of ram.  If you have at least this amount of ram then I suspect something in your hardware.

We are in the early alpha stages of the version that will have this feature so it's too early to say anything about a releasedate.

Never seen that on 1.0.1. You using the full install or embedded? Also did you get any errors during install. You said it took a few tries to get it to boot, which makes it seem like something is hosed.

It's an adaptation of the metallic theme. Its a bit smaller in image size and has a more 'corporate' look, maybe we can call it that .. corporate? =P

We officially suport Safari, IE 6 & 7 and FireFox.

We are not zealots however most of us do test more on FireFox and Safari than IE.  Just happens to be how we operate.

If you can narrow it down to a browser bug let us know and we will attempt to fix it.

Thank you.  Specifying the source port was the problem.  I did notice that the gui said a source port isn't needed most of the time.  I just thought that in this case, since it was for the admin panel, it would be a good idea to limit the rule as much as possible.  I guess not.

BTW, thank you to all of the devs for this wonderful product.  I dropped my custom Gentoo install using Shorewall that had worked for me as a firewall/router over the past 3 years.  I didn't have any problems, but I thought I would try something different.  I'm glad I did.

I use a CAcert (www.cacert.org), it's free and who knows, maybe the root certificate will be included to mainstream browsers… (at the moment you have once to import the root certificate to your browser).

pfSense has come a long way since I first checked it out about a year ago...

remove the wan-queues.rrd database and execute en enable_graphing_function.

go to the exec.php page and rm -f /var/db/rrd/wan-queues.rrd

The click save on Interfaces -> WAN.

We removed that feature for now in the upcoming RC2. It will be fixed in a later release.
