Turn pfsense into a pure router problem !
-
Good evening ,
to make the pfsense a pure router (without the firewall function by) the doc tells you to set the option to disable packet filter, but always when I do that devices on the LAN can not send or receive Internet packages.
If I see the ping option in pfsense, I can verify that it (the pfsense itself) with this internet normally.Any hint or solution?
Thank you .

You are turning off NAT when you do that.
Do all your LAN devices have routable IP addresses?

Sorry i dont understand what you mean about routable IP .
In my Pfsense wan is ADSL with ppoe method and LAN is 192.168.2.1(Pfsense) and devices are 192.168.2.2 - 192.168.2.254
Thanks for reply

The non-RFC1918 IPs. None of those you mentioned. You need something to NAT those eventually, pfSense or a box in front of its WAN. Kinda don't get the purpose of what you trying to do.

:o You don't understand a basic element of networking and you're trying to disable your firewall. I'm with the other guys in asking what the heck you're really trying to do.
