What does this "►" icon mean in my firewall log?

Can't find a legend that explains what the "play" icon ( ►) means in my logs, example:
Jun 3 11:08:17 ► WAN 216.93.99.23:22
Many entries have it, many don't. What is this mean?

You have a port forward for SSH and are logging access from WAN I would guess?

If it's right next to the interface, that means the packet was logged in the outbound direction.
So it was blocked from a floating rule, or it was a leftover packet from a just-deleted state, or something similar. Things like this:
