Traffic shaping on LAN interface just stopped after upgrade
-
Hi,
Traffic shaping on LAN interface has completedly stopped working since i upgraded to 2.3.1-RELEASE-p5 (amd64).
WAN shaper is still functional if i believe the status/queues statistics.
But as i said. Lan shaper has stopped working.Even though the same configuration is still there and it also says "enabled".
Tried enable/disable and even tried backup/restore of configuration.
Does not work.
Anyone have any tips on how to shake it into operation again ?
Do not fancy reconfiguring my traffic shaping again =)
Thanks !

I've also noticed that if i try to change that queues bandwidth i get the following error:
The following input errors were detected:
The sum of child bandwidth is higher than parent. And I don't have a parent interface higher than the initial shaper queue for LAN ?

Just had a thought.
In the past this worked on my LAN interface.
But maybe some new bug has been introduced that makes it impossible to make traffic shaping properly on a bridged interface ?
My LAN interface is a bridge that consists of my internal network card and wifi card.

Sigh.
Think i've found my answer: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/4405
Wonder if i was diliusional then in earlier releases when i thought it was working.

I also see this. And very sure this used to work fine. I followed the tips here: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=53790.msg288059#msg288059
But no shaping taking place.
(I'm also using Squid transparent proxy but I don't think that's the cause, issue is mostly non http traffic).
It also looks like the "Kill States" button isn't work either anymore.
