2.3.1: Can't upgrade to 2.3.1_5; pkg utilizing 100% cpu
-
Following some of the other information on the forums, I've killed pkg, tried option 13 from the console menu, ended up with the same results. I let it run for ~30 hours with no progress.
Following that, I tried pfSense-upgrade -4 -d>>> Updating repositories metadata... Updating pfSense-core repository catalogue... pfSense-core repository is up-to-date. Updating pfSense repository catalogue... pfSense repository is up-to-date. All repositories are up-to-date. >>> Upgrading pfSense-repo... Updating pfSense-core repository catalogue... pfSense-core repository is up-to-date. Updating pfSense repository catalogue... pfSense repository is up-to-date. All repositories are up-to-date. The following 1 package(s) will be affected (of 0 checked): Installed packages to be UPGRADED: pfSense-repo: 2.3 -> 2.3.2 [pfSense-core] Number of packages to be upgraded: 1 2 KiB to be downloaded.
It will sit there eating 100% CPU indefinitely I suspect.
Any thoughts?
I'd just reload the box, but it's at a friends house 6 hours away.. I'm hoping to not make that trip…
