      Hi pfsense gurus,

I'm new to pfsense, I'm using this FW in my network for a quarter and suddenly my incoming mails or my pop to yahoo mail is not working.
I have outbound but no inbound mails.

Please help me find or troubleshoot this issue. When I connect my computer directly to my modem its working.

      Cheers!
      Michelle

Have you checked your firewall logs to see if POP3 is being blocked? (Status/System Logs/Firewall)

How will I do that? Sorry, I'm just new to this.

          Thanks in advance.

As mentioned, select the 'Status/System Logs' drop-down menu item. Click on the firewall tab (Status/System Logs/Firewall). You can then filter the logs via source or destination IP as well as destination port. Type 110 in the destination port field and click on the 'Filter' button. Make sure you've clicked 'dynamic view' so that the logs refresh. Try making a POP3 connection to your mail account and see if the logs show anything being stopped.

              Hi muswellhillbilly,

I tried that and I have not seen any logs blocking mail ports.
