Is that in any way useful, or completely outdated? I'm quite familiar with Linux, but not with FreeBSD and pfSense is new to me.

At the moment it is still undergoing conversion for 2.3 but is mostly done.

There are no current plans for a print version or sales of just the book on its own at this time, but if that changes we'll make an announcement.
