apologies if this has been answered. I did several searches but only hit on issues relating to the webGUI itself. I've installed pfSense 2.3.2 on a Netgate appliance. Had to use a backup (no packages) config.XML as the mSATA drive had issues and I have to reinstall the OS. Everything works fine with the device.

Gone to add the CRON package, installed correctly and pfSense states the package is installed. No CRON option appears under the Status tab on the webGUI though. I have restarted the WebGUI via SSH and the machine itself several times. I've even removed / reinstalled the CRON package a couple of times.

Is there some secret to forcing the option to appear in the WebGUI?

FYI - this is 1 of about 25 Netgate pfSense appliances I've installed and is the only one that's had displayed this problem. It is also the only appliance I've had to rebuild it's config from a backup also.
