Firewall/NAT Issue?
-
Hello, I'm new to using pfSense, so I wanted to throw this out there to see if someone could point me in the right direction.
I have a CIDR block that I received from Cox. I have my WAN interface configured with my Cox IP. I have an Interface configured to handle my CIDR block.
I've assigned IP addresses from the CIDR block to a couple of servers, and everything appears to be working fine. LAN clients have no issues and Servers get out all fine.
On one of my servers however, I have an FTP server running. Whenever I see a client connect to my FTP Server, the Source IP appears as the gateway of the FTP Server as opposed to the actual source IP of the client connecting to it.
What I really want is to be able to see the actual source IP of the client connecting, instead of the gateway IP of my FTP Server.
Thanks

The source address would only be translated if there was outbound NAT configured on that interface, which should not be the case with a routed subnet.
