Desktops receiving two IP addresses
-
Hello,
I've only just started using the pfSense as a DHCP server, and I notice that all of our desktop computers are receiving two IP addresses. The desktops are configured to boot from LAN first and checkin with our deployment system (we use FOG) and then boot from harddrive.
The leases listed in the pfSense have one IP address with no name, and the other IP address with the windows computer name.
Is there some way to get the pfSense to only hand out one IP address per computer?
Cheers,
Chris.PS. We are on version 2.3.2-RELEASE-p1

Update to 2.3.3-p1 and check "Ignore client identifiers" on the DHCP Server settings.

Hi jimp,
thanks for that. I shall give it a try.
Cheers,
