<p dir="auto">I have been trying to configure the Squid to use LDAP authentication without much success. Just wondering if someone can help.</p>
<p dir="auto">I have an OpenLDAP Server.</p>
<p dir="auto">My settings are</p>
<p dir="auto">Authentication method : LDAP<br />
LDAP version : 3 (I have tried with both 2 &amp; 3)<br />
Authentication server : xx.xx.xx.xx<br />
LDAP server user DN : cn=Manager,dc=xxxxxxxx,dc=com<br />
LDAP password : xxxxxxxxx<br />
LDAP base domain : dc=xxxxxxxxx,dc=com<br />
LDAP search filter : (&amp;(uid=%s)(ou=People))</p>
<p dir="auto">With the above settings I don't see anything on LDAP Server log</p>
<p dir="auto">Changing the last two lines to</p>
<p dir="auto">LDAP base domain : ou=People,dc=xxxxxxxxx,dc=com<br />
LDAP search filter : &lt;blank&gt;I see</p>
<p dir="auto">slapd[15439]: get_filter: unknown filter type=48</p>
<p dir="auto">You help to solve this would be greatly appreciated.</p>
