      hello everyone,

Does anyone of you know how to write a script that changes a rule when it is executed ?
For example activating/deactivating a rule and not to change the configuration of a rule.
The OS is FreeBSD and i think on this bash does not work only shell.

      Thanks in advance !  :)

The OS is FreeBSD, but uses a custom settings management system. Crazy things can happen if you start making changes without pfSense being privy to them.

Perhaps you could just use firewall schedules for this.

It needs to be a script because when a button from an ASPx website is clicked the script that activates/deactivates the rule needs to be started
