Basically in a nutshell I see I can do this either way so I am wondering will one cause issues the other would not. Which way is proper?
I have a 3 NICs. Wan, LAN and 3rd not assigned.  Now I can create VLANs and assign them to the hardware for the 3rd NIC, whether the NIC is assigned or not. Which way is proper as no NON-VLAN traffic will ever be on that hardware? https://forum.pfsense.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif
