Add row in crontab

Hi,
I must add a row in /etc/crontab file.
But after some time system (I suppose) create a new file and remove my row…...Where I must put my row for be sure that when pfsense generate crontab file add also my row?

the first link is about "boot time" and is not what I want: i want that all days at some time system execute a command.Now I installed as you suggested the "cron package" and added my command. Now I will check if row will be removed.

Use the info found here https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Executing_commands_at_boot_time to "add" your own lines. The will last because the file only gets created ay boot time.
