Tinc restart every 53 seconds, why?
-
Hello all,
just installed tinc on 2.4 (then upgraded to 2.4.1) and I see a curious thing:
checking /var/log/tinc.log I see tincd is restarted every 53 seconds, not a big deal, it is fast and there is no network downs, but still I am wondering.
See log entries:Nov 1 09:03:40 mtfw1 tinc[41680]: tincd 1.0.32 starting, debug level 0

AndreaEDIT: nevermind, upon further investigation we found we had an old HideMyAss VPN that was not working anymore, it was trying to reconnect every 50 seconds, causing a change on a WAN interface and a restart of the services… my bad
