ACME Package: account key creation not working
-
Hi,
I'm running pfSense 2.4.1 and wanted to use Let's encrypt certificates, so installed the ACME package.
Inside "Account keys" i fill out Name and description, then successfully create Account key and even when pressing "Register acme key account" i get a white hook.
But after pressing "Save" the previous "account key" window opens and there is no account key.
Additional i get a warning message from pfsense with: "pfSenseConfigurator" pfSense is restoring the configuration /cf/conf/backup/config-1510312094.xml @ 2017-11-10 15:43:38Does anybody know how to resolve this error?
Regards,

Just had exactly the same issue. Seems to be a general problem.

It's working fine here for me. I can create a test or production key.
Perhaps you used a non-XML-safe character in the name or description?

Good hint! I was using a name with German umlaut. It works fine using standard letters.
Thank you!

I had also a german umlaut inside description what was the problem.
Thank you for this hint! -
I remember posting somewhere on this forum about this ACME package that even a space " " in the name (field) will give a situation were the account key exists, but can't be show or edited anymore β¦
