OpenVPN same subnet mask as local network?
Is it possible to setup OpenVPN to get on the same network as the local one?
Im trying to connect to a program, that only connects to one type of subnet mask.
Will access this program from a iPhone.
Local network is on submask 192.168.1.1, DHCP from 192.168.1.100
OpenVPN Submask from 10.0.8.1
Would be glad if somebody could tell me how todo it.
If you must. Use TAP mode and set up a bridge.
The best writeup on the subject is in the book:
This would have worked, sadly OpenVPN client on iOS does not support tap. Would there be any other way to make a fix? OpenVPN > VLan > DHCP server?
Nope. Figure out how to route the traffic instead.
