      hi all

      im looking for some help im running pfsense with open vpn, i cant seem to get port forwarding to work i think i have double nat, when i turn off the vpn the port forwarding works, im mainly trying to port forward plex atm, ive tried setting up 2 port forwarding rules one for wan and one for the vpn but it doesnt work, i only have one pysical wan interface so i think its something with the vpn.

      let me know if you require any more information

      whst am i missing?

        Hello,

        I had the same issue as you I believe.  Here's my thread

        Had to create a new interface called it VPN, then made a gateway for VPN trafffic, created NAT outbound rule for new VPN interface to point to my LAN1 Router.

        I'm new to pfsense, it can be very confusing..  Hope this helps, I too read almost every thread and still didn't get it working.

        Mine is working now, I'm still not sure if it's correctly configured but works.

            Hey thanks heaps for your instructions it works perfectly so I guess the instructions apply for all port forwarding with this VPN configuration?
