I'm trying to make OpenVPN runs on two pfSense with CARP.</p>
<p dir="auto">If i connect from a client to the OpenVPN WAN CARP address it fails; if i connect to the address of each single firewall it runs correctly.</p>
<p dir="auto">How to make it running well with CARP?</p>

I think it should be possible.<br />
Have you tried to set in the custom options the -local host option and set it to the CARP IP?</p>

Just provide multiple Server in the client config.<br />
If one is not reachable OpenVPN will failover to the next entry.</p>
