Atom C3000 support with XG-7100 announcement?

With the announcement of the XG-7100 (which uses an atom C3558), does that indicate that the C3000 series of atoms are supported in an upcoming 2.4 release 2.4.3 maybe? Including the X553 NIC drivers?

That's probably the goal, but this doesn't mean you can get any random C3xxx boards working yourself. Don't even try it. Maybe after the commercial units have been selling and running for two or three months, then go check out the options of building something yourself.
Getting new hardware to work is one thing, but in-prod stability and usability can only be guaranteed with time.

Even FreeBSD 11.1 release didn't have it, I think 11.2 release will got it.(https://www.freebsd.org/releases/11.2R/schedule.html)The pfSense team needs to build a kernel from FreeBSD 11-stable.
I think Netgate may be using customized Atom C3000 boards which may have switching chip than the standard version of Supermicro bardbone.
