How do i enable two lan ports on an ALIX.2D3 ?

I have an ALIX.2D3 i bought from netgate
It has 3 ports that pfsense recognizes : WAN, LAN, OPT1
The WAN and LAN are working fine, how can I enable the OPT1 to also be a port for the LAN ? I'd like to be able to connect directly to the ALIX to handle admin stuff when needed, and not go through the router/switch it feeds into.

You can bridge it to lan. But if it's sole purpose is to admin stuff it will be better as a stand alone net.
