LTE M.2 modem
-
I'm going to be putting together a pfSense router. I plan on using a Fibocom L850-GL for the LTE modem. I will be moving to a new house that doesn't have cable or fiber access yet and LTE towers are withing a few miles (my phone gets all 5 bars inside the house). So i'd like to run all my devices through a VPN service im subbed to via OpenVPN to avoid getting throttled. AT&T has a bad rep for that based on how many devices connected and site streaming. My question pertains to support of components and how to lock and aggregate bands through pfSense. Bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 17, and 66 are possible bands around me. Below i will link the main components of my rig i will order as soon as i finalize the contract on my house. Also i will be running an external mimo directional antenna to focus on one tower. I have two RT66U routers which will be used as AP's. All criticism, recommendations and helpful guides are appreciated. Feel free to throw in your ideas.

Is that LTE modem (or its chipset) on the FreeBSD Hardware Compatibility List?
You will have a hard time getting it to work otherwise.Don't expect too much love from this forum for choosing Qotom hardware, btw.
