Please Help ;;
Ive been trying to install pfsense for months now but everytime something cant work….
I have a D945GCLF and a PCI realtek NIC, and a DSL-504T or a Linksys AM300 , and 4 windows pc's.
Took me forever just to get it installed but now it seems much easier, but just the ip settings I cant quite get right I think.
modem/router and computers can use internet fine plugged to each other. When I try with pfsense in the middle I cant access pfsense web GUI or modem web page
DSL-504T LAN IP 10.1.1.1
SUBNET 255.0.0.0
DHCP Off
NAT On?PFSense re0 WAN IP* 10.1.1.1
re1 LAN IP* 192.168.1.1PC IP Address 192.168.1.2
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1Ive tried lots of different numbers just not the right ones i think? -.-

Have you tried with a switch or a crossover cable between pfSense and your PC?
On wan interface unpick Block private networks and Block bogon networks
DHCP Off
NAT On?On some DSL modems you can set a DMZ IP

Yes I've tried with switch and crossover cable.
Not sure what you mean about unpick private networks and block bogon networks
And I'd prefer to stay right away from DMZ

Last couple of items on the WEB GUI: Interfaces -> WAN. Make sure the two box DON'T have a tick.
Normally the LAN interfaces on a switch or computer have a couple of indicators: one for "link status" and one that flashes with activity. The link status indicator should be on at both ends of the cable(s) between pfSense box, switch (if used) and computer. If the status indicators are not on then you possibly have the wrong type of cable (crossover instead of straight through or vice versa) or one of the interfaces is not enabled or you have a configuration problem (e.g. a GigE interface locked to 1000Mbps connected to a 10/100 interface).

The second part of my previous answer attempted to respond to your issue accessing the web GUI.
