What am I missing?
-
I love my SG-3100 and how much it has improved our network - even my wife is convinced. Currently I have a limiter with pfblockerng, snort, and OpenVPN configured. I have other tweaks like DNS over TLS setup, but am looking to discover what else I may be missing out on? I had thought about monitoring tools - eh - or something perhaps with AWS. Is there anything worthwhile in setting up an AWS VPC beyond a VPN? Any other recommended packages/projects are greatly appreciated.
Tl;Dr: I'm bored and need a worthwhile project.
Thanks!

Well, other than using it as a OpenVPN server for accessing all your devices when you're not home (something that you probably already did), I really don't know..
Cheers!

In addition to setting up a VPN server, you might have fun setting up a reverse proxy. I use HAPROXY for this.

Good Idea, I am also going to give it a try, to this reverse proxy.
