Random PPP/LCP Disconnects - Forced to reboot to resolve.
-
Hi all,
I've been fighting with the following fault ever since install of my PFSense machine.
Most mornings (not all) I will wake up to my internet being down, when I log into the web ui I see my WAN interface is down. See below for WAN settings.
I have done some research and found something about doing daily resets fixes the issue, I enabled a reset at midnight which hasn't resolved the issue. I've tried going into the PPP settings and pressing Save and then reconnect but it doesn't connect, the only way to get it to reconnect is by going to Diagnostics -> Reboot.
I checked the PPP logs and noticed it is the same set of messages rolling constantly until I rebooted.

Anyone any ideas because I am completely stuck now and debating going back to my ISP router.

Can we see more of that log?
It shows the mpd daemon restarting there, does it restart on each cycle? That would be unexpected. It should just try to reconnect with the existing process until it succeeds.
