<![CDATA[Will this work at gigabit speeds?]]>Hi I’m new here and have a desire to build a pfsense box for my home.

My bandwidth is 1gig down and 25 up, I’d like to run multiple packages, including but not limited to, snort, squid/squid guard, suricata, and others for traffic shaping, and other related may/firewall activities. I’m not very concerned about vpn performance.

I will add a 4 port intel nic. The box has a non-variant 8100t with at least 4 gigs of ram.

Will this all work while maintaining gigabit speeds?
