Right now on a Protectli device with 6 ports I have a WAN, LAN and OPT1. The OPT1 has a synology on it.

I noticed that for large file transfers they time out after 3-4 minutes. These are normal web https downloads from the OPT1 interface to the LAN interface. The time range seems the same for wifi downloads that go at 200-300 Mbps and for wired downloads that go at gigabit speed so it isn't the amount transferred.

If I put the Synology "outside" pfsense on the WAN interface the downloads work fine and files in the 50-100 GB range have all completed without issue.

My LAN network is 10.10.0.0/16
My OPT1 network is 10.20.0.0/16

I have DNS Resolver redirect my domain to the internal 10.20.x.x IP address for all the LAN computers.
