Dyn DNS after switch Firewall
-
Hi,
I migrate from IPCop to pfSense and I cover a problem with DynDNS.
The „Cached IP“ stays 0.0.0.0 and if I force update I find in the log
pfSense php-fpm[27069]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Dynamic DNS: updatedns() starting
pfSense php-fpm[27069]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Dynamic DNS freedns (${myfreednsid}): ${myipadress} extracted from Check IP Service
pfSense php-fpm[27069]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Dynamic DNS (${myfreednsid}): running get_failover_interface for wan. found re0
pfSense php-fpm[27069]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Dynamic DNS freedns (${myfreednsid}): _update() starting.
pfSense php-fpm[27069]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Dynamic DNS freedns (${myfreednsid}): _checkStatus() starting.
pfSense php-fpm[27069]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS (${myfreednsid}): PAYLOAD: ERROR: Invalid update URL (2)
pfSense php-fpm[27069]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS (${myfreednsid}): (Unknown Response)The respond from http://freedns.afraid.org/dynamic/update.php?${myfreednsid}=
is “ERROR: Address 62.47.28.201 has not changed.” Because the last update was done by IPCop.I check the ${myfreednsid} twice, the number is correct.
JFI: I use a multiuser ADSL Modem in front of the firewalls. Some equipment is directly connected to the internet. The first “firewall” on the ADSL Router is off.
Any idea? Works as designed, or did I something wrong?
Thx Gerhard
