Limiter Kills Internet Connection

  • I have a Netgate XG-7100 and am attempting to do traffic shaping using limiters. But for some reason, the limiter kills the internet connection if I set the upload pipe's bandwidth at or below 1650 Kbps, the capacity of the actual internet link. If I change the bandwidth setting to a value much higher, like 1 Gbps, everything works fine. And, it is only the upload pipe that's causing trouble; the download side works fine. Any ideas? Is it perhaps because I have the traffic assigned with a floating rule on the outbound side of the WAN connection?
