The dd-ing goes fine but the resultant image on the cf card is showing geometry problems in fdisk and also refuses solidly to boot.<br />
Any ideas?</p>

I needed to do this to make my via c3s boot from cfcards.</p>

<p dir="auto">Thanks wescb.  Fortunately/unfortunately I don't have <em>any</em> windows machines here so that's not an option.  I don't suspect either the usb card reader/writer or the systems I've used because other images of varying os's are still dd-ing perfectly.  I'll get a chance to try it again later and post the fdisk outputs.</p>
