<![CDATA[Problem with embedded image on cf]]>I've been trying to dd any of the embedded images to a number of cf cards today.  Everything from beta3 to rc1a and utilising 3 differnet cf cards.
The dd-ing goes fine but the resultant image on the cf card is showing geometry problems in fdisk and also refuses solidly to boot.
Any ideas?

I needed to do this to make my via c3s boot from cfcards.

Thanks wescb.  Fortunately/unfortunately I don't have any windows machines here so that's not an option.  I don't suspect either the usb card reader/writer or the systems I've used because other images of varying os's are still dd-ing perfectly.  I'll get a chance to try it again later and post the fdisk outputs.

While I'd think dd would work, you might try that and see if you still have problems.
