High collisions
-
Hi all,
I get this collisions on my LAN side. The numbers increase all the time. I am thinking it must be because of duplex mismatch. Pfsense auto selected automatically. What do you think could be the problem.

You do have a switch in front of the pfsense and not a hub, don't you?
-
I'm guessing a hub, based on this:
Media 10baseT/UTP<half-duplex></half-duplex>
If that's a hub, collisions are par for the course.
If that's really a 100Mbit switch, then you have a card, cabling, or port issue.

I have a switch in the front. I think I should change the 10 MB to 100 MB, Pfsense automatically selected it so I did not bother.
Thanks for your suggestion guys. I will play with this.

Do not play. Just set up the port on the switch to auto-negotiate. This is the only correct setting unless you want to set up speed/duplex on pfSense.
