      Hi,

      I think this is a long shot but I was hoping to get some help here.

      I recently bought a HP 730 very cheaply on ebay and all of my monitors are HDMI but the machine only has DisplayPort ports for connection to a monitor.

      Was wondering if it is possible to install pfsense only with a keyboard and to know how/when to time the keystrokes to get it in to network config mode?

      I would also need to setup the boot drive order to get the usb to boot automatically, I'm unsure if this is enabled by default.

      Thanks

        Hi, ๐Ÿ˜‰

        No joke, but this solution could be:

        or use a serial console + PuTTY

          @daddygo Thanks for the reply. I've made an order for a dongle, but I thought I would ask to see if anyone might be able to save me a few quid and have yet another dongle in the home.

            you only need it as long as you configure it, then you can forget about it

            dongle = adapter ๐Ÿ˜‰
