I use Zen as an ISP in the UK and they have given me a .144 /29 range with 8 IP's. To connect I have to use PPPoE... this automatically allocates pfSense with .150 and I can successfully do things like 1:1 NAT using Virtual IP's to use the other IP's...

Whilst it works, I have some devices I'm testing for my company that complain that I cannot enable some features (like SD-WAN) because I do not have a public IP, they get something like 192.168.50.250/24 which functions well enough for most features, but not a few of the ones that really must have a public IP to test with.

Is there anyway possible to utilise my usable .145-149 spare addresses for the purpose of a WAN port on another device?

In an act of desperation, I've tried plugging a switch between my modem/pfSense WAN port, letting pfSense connect with PPPoE first and then connecting the other device to this same switch attempting either DHCP on the other device, static assignment and PPPoE... PPPoE works and the device says it's online, but it's definitely not and has been allocated the same .150 address that pfSense already has.

      Any ideas?

(I've already complained to the product managers of the product to say it doesn't make sense to not allow NAT to work, if setup well, maybe they'll fix it eventually)
