Issues after upgrading to 2.5.0
-
The first problem was that pfBlocker with the rules in the firewall were gone.
The second problem is that the IPSec IKEv1 VPN. The VPN connection is working. But the status overview indicates that it is down. I if you look at status \ IPSec the IKEv1 is initiator up but the child SA indicates that it is disconnected.
Third problem is that IPv6 no longer works. At gateway in the overview screen WAN_DHCP6 indicates pending.

@colindexter
Not sure on the first one- I'd try re-installing the latest version pf pfB and force updating the rules. The other two are known issues. If you search, there are some patches you can apply to fix the IPSec status. The IP6 gateway will at least go online if you specify a monitor IP. I used google's DNS. -
For pfBlocker I have reinstalled the package and restore a backup. And it is working again. For the vpn I wait for the next update, because it is working only it displays it nog correctly. But that is fine for me at the moment.
Only IPv6 I can’t get it working it again. I have checked all settings. And they are the same as before. Yes if I fill in a monitor IP address the gateway is online. But before there was a IPv6 address displayed. Now only a ~. And the commenced clients only get a IPv4 address not a IPv6 address anymore.
If I bring my spare pfsense online with version 2.4.4 and the same settings it works all at ones :-(

@colindexter You need to manually specify the IP that should be monitored for your IPv6 gateway. More detail here: https://forum.netgate.com/post/965293
Test to see if IPv6 is working in spite of the gateway report. If it is, it is only the monitor that is not working. If IPv6 is not working, it might be best to create a new thread in the IPv6 area with the details you can provide about your connection.

Thanks for the link. Saving the wan settings again was the solution for getting IPv6 working again.
