NAT 1:1
-
Hi.
I'm working on a 3cx phone system behind the pfsense.
We just changed ISP's because the prior used MAC-binding for WAN static IPs.
The new ISP assured us that they don't do MAC-binding for static IP. However, if I put in a static IP on the 3cx console, I can't make the inbound calls work.
Our new ISP is SHAW. We've even asked SHAW to turn on multi-home. The WAN interface on the pfsense is configured as the external ip for the pfsense. If I turn dynamic on on 3cx console, it shows the firewall static IP (which is expected) and calls work.
If the IP is set to static to the respective 3cx static IP, I can reach the management remotely, using only the firewall IP.
Any ideas how to correctly do 1:1 NAT-ting on Pfsense?

1:1 says any packets for public_IP get sent to a specific private_IP. So the 3CX server would have a private IP.
Also https://www.3cx.com/docs/pfsense-firewall/#h.gk510hqliu0g says 1:1 doesn't work for 3CX. :)
