Any luck with a replacement?

I just installed 11 or so of these in 2022 just before they suddenly went EOS. They have been OK but we suddenly had our first PSU failure. Now that I’m reading some more on these units, it sounds like the PSU failure is pretty common.

Now we haven't had any failed of the ones that have been RMAed and replaced with a working power supply, so just a heads up if anyone has one they purchased in the last year. You might be in for some downtime.

Got the device RMAed, it's on it's way to the US now. I asked for spare power supplies, so we could replace them quickly ourselves, however I was told by Netgate support, that this is very rare.

This is our second XG-7100-1U, that we installed in the same rack. First one works great, in the same rack. All other devices had no power supply related issues. Good thing we didn't have the time to setup HA stack as we were planning to :)

We have had some up for a year or two, so I dunno if maybe we got a bad batch. But this many failing in such a short period of time is really annoying to say the least.

3 different 7100, in 3 different locations/states with 3 different power feeds. All other equipment on same UPSs is working fine.

If I had that many power issues with any other one vendor I would say the same.

Oh different locations :(

Have you tried googling the part number or maybe call Netgate.
