I live in an area with poor internet connectivity. I plan on a new dual WAN setup. Are there any latency issues with failover on the 6100 or similar Netgate devices? I was planning on using one of the TP Link routers but they could not provide and specs on dual WAN failover latency. Is the Netgate 6100 my best solution for an uninterrupted connection?

@rivarda Anything from the SG-1100 up can handle multi-WAN. Failover is handled by the use of gateway groups. There will always be some latency because the system needs time to detect that a gateway is down and that status depends on missed packet metrics.

@kom Do you think latency would be comparable between the Netgate SG-xxxx and the TP Link Omada router?
