What tier of AWS pFsense to choose ? A sizing guide wold be nice.

I am in search of a cloud solution to backup our current pFsense cluster.
At the moment we are running a hardware cluster of 2 firewalls and it has been really solid. We are using it only as a VPN solution with OpenVPN and the firewall/ips part is not really in use.
I would like to have a backup VPN solution in the cloud. And of course I wanted it to be pfsense.
I have checked the sizing guide, but it doesn't really provide me with any real world usage information.
So this is where I need your help :) Any input would be welcome. We have 20-40 people connecting to the VPN, the pfsense is used only for OpenVPN, no ACLs, no IPSEC tunnels, no firewall rules, no IPS/IDS. What would be an optimal solution for such a setup . Of course I would like to get away with the cheapest option possible, but still have the horsepower to run the OpenVPN smootly.
Thank in advance. -
It depends entirely on what bandwidth you need over the VPN.
Really I would suggest just testing it yourself as everyones traffic is different. Start small and go up. OpenVPN is single threaded so you may find the smaller instances work fine for you and larger instances don't give you much.
