I've been using plex remote access for a while with no issues and just recently noticed it stopped working. I've followed a few posts but I'm just not sure what's wrong. I have manually set up port forwarding for 32400 and deleted and readded a few times with a few reboots in between. I've restarted the plex server and pfSense but no change. I've also deleted the states and still no difference. I tried adding:

server:
private-domain: "plex.direct"

to DNS Resolver custom options but still no change. I noticed sometimes when I click retry it will say connected for about 2 seconds and disappear. There are no active block rules so I'm not sure what else to do. I have checked with CanYouSeeMe.org and 32400 is showing open. I do not have double NAT. Is there anything else I can try or any guides that go a bit more in-depth? All the ones I've found are just the basic setup of port-forwarding and that's it.

I don't have a very complex setup, but I do have my LAN and WLAN (OPT2) bridged.

I have been troubleshooting for 3 hours and I am not very smart please help :(

Apparently, it's an issue with plex. They just updated that they're having remote SSL connection issues. I checked https://status.plex.tv/ when I first started troubleshooting but they hadn't updated it yet. Checking now will show that there are issues.

I haven't changed anything at all... Perhaps just a plex issue? But it wasn't connecting at all before.
