I've been changing the Outbound NAT for each WAN interface from "Interface Address" to the CARP VIP (as the docs suggest here https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/recipes/high-availability.html).

In the gateway group configuration there is an option beside each gateway to select a virtual IP, of either Interface Address or the CARP VIP which is avaliable for that connection.

Tried testing this by turning off/deleting the Outbound NAT rule and using the gateway group, with no luck.

Is this supposed to work in the way I am assuming it could?

      If not what
