pfsense blocking websites
-
Hi All, I just recently switched over to pfsense to do my firewalling, NAT, DHCP, routing etc. I now noticed occasionally sites and content not loading. I'm mainly using a Macbook and I have to tether to my phone when this happens to bypass my home internet and then things start working. Even Twitter doesn't load content and just as an example duckduckgo.com won't load. I don't have any packages installed and the install is pretty default. This happens on all computers and devices. Any ideas why and what is blocking it?

pfSense doesn't block anything.
Check the first rule (or second, if you have the "Anti-Lockout Rule" activated) and only rule on your LAN interface : it's a pass all.Look at the WAN side of your installation. Where does your Internet come from ?
duckduckgo.com works fine on pfSense.
