Problems with port forwarding
-
I've purchased a box from appliance shop eu and i'm trying to get it configured. The problem I'm running into is that we have a block of ip addresses (xxx.xxx.xxx.228 to xxx.xxx.xxx.239). Our gateway is xxx.xxx.xxx.225. I've set the firewall's wan ip to xxx.xxx.xxx.228/28 which is what we were given by the data center we are in. I set the Lan address to yyy.yyy.yyy.228/28. I set up pptp and created a rule to allow traffic over pptp from the Wan and I'm able to get to everything behind the firewall fine. All seems to be ok except port forwarding. I've added my other address in my block in the virtual ip section and I've created port forward items with the check box checked to automatically create rules. For example i've forwarded port 80 from xxx.xxx.xxx.229 to yyy.yyy.yyy.229. No joy. I can't bring up the website that is on the server. If i pptp in and go to yyy.yyy.yyy.229 it comes up. Am I missing something???? Please help!!

Very interesting definition of problem.
May we see screenshots of your NAT and rules?
