<![CDATA[Internet Speed]]>I'm connecting my PFSense direct to the modem, and the ethernet cards both are 1GB and my internet speed is 500mbps ... but the internet that is coming out of the pfsense is 230mbps ...
any suggestions why?

What are the drivers for the NICs? Model of NIC? Are you connecting through switching hardware?

The more detail you have to provide the more likely someone can help point you in the right direction.
