I am using a sonicwall on site to route traffice, etc.
The servers on this location get replicated to a Datacenter offsite where I have a pfSense firewall installed with the basic network setup (same network as production site) to be able to put the servers online in the event of an emergency.
When I power on the servers, all of them turn on fine but they have no internet access/no DNS access either.
The pfSense ARP table shows the IP but no other information is displayed. If I try to ping the pfSense unit on the internat IP 192.168.2.10 from any of the servers I get no reply. Also from the pfSense I try to ping one of my servers with IP 192.168.2.5 and it never replies.
The servers can ping themselves just fine in the datacenter but they can't see the gateway for some reason. But I do see the pfSense registering the IPs on the ARP table.
What could be happening?
I even tried removing the VMware interface from the replicated vm and adding a new one and get the same result.
I might be missing something here.
I create a VM on the datacenter itself and when I use it through the pfSense it works and internet access works fine but none of my other replicated machines work.
Thanks much in advance.
