FRR issues on 2.7snapshots? (figured it out)

I have two boxes set up.. one with 2.6.0 and the other with the latest 2.7 snapshot. FRR on both connected via a dedicated port on each box with a /30 subnet on that link using RIP.
The box with 2.6 is my primary box and has multiple networks local and vpn connected.
The box with 2.7 has just three subnets on it with one being the link to the other box.I can see the 2.6 subnets on the 2.7 box but cannot see the 2.7 subnets on the 2.6 box..
Edit-
NM- I did not have anything plugged into the LAN port of the 2.7 box during testing.. once I populated that port things began to work.
