<![CDATA[Configure pfsense for BGP from localnet to remote site?]]>I am in the woods here... a client has asked for BGP as the only option supported by the connection vendor.

Anybody has any experience regarding this?

I have read the docs but that doesnt make me confident....

BGP is basically:

  1. establish a peering relationship
  2. exchange routes

People would just be guessing what you actually need above and beyond that.

I need connection from a clients location to a DC with a shared pfsense with a lot of vlans and I cant find that scenario anywhere and need some input to see if pfsense can handle excatly that and what influence it has on the DC side.

If you're hiring yourself out as an expert I suggest building a couple lab hosts and making it work as a first step.
