Which version should be used. The standard Haproxy is using version 1.8.30 which is no longer supported. The Haproxy-dev is using 2.4.9. However a dev package could mean it is not stable in a production environment, any comments or advice in using or not the Dev package?

Why is the standard haproxy not being updates. Is this a dead package?

Is there a plan to move to version 2.6 LTS or 2.7 (stable) in the near term?
