@KOM I had to move over to explicit with IPV6 I was having leaks with that in transparent or what looked like leaks on my packet captures. It was like some ipv6 traffic was going direct

Yes, the squid team patch most of the vulnerabilities in a few days, but it could sometimes takes up to 1-2 weeks. Recently, like a lot of other projects, they got a lot of CVEs.

"The Squid HTTP Proxy team is very pleased to announce the availability
              of the Squid-7.6 release!

This release is, we believe, stable enough for general production use.
We encourage all users of any previous version of Squid to upgrade to it.

It can be downloaded from GitHub, at
              https://github.com/squid-cache/squid/releases/tag/SQUID_7_6

The main changes since version 7.5 are bug fixes in parsing of HTTP,
peer digests, error pages, and FTP control channel protocols, and
portability fixes. Changes are detailed in the ChangeLog and in the
              download page.

Please remember to run "squid -k parse" when testing the upgrade to a new
version of Squid. It will audit your configuration files and report
any identifiable issues the new release will have in your installation
              before you "press go".

If you encounter any issues with this release please file a bug report at
              https://bugs.squid-cache.org/

I hope that helps I cant move past a specific version of pfsense plus because the mpci driver is not working and I use the wifi card as well as a nvme adapter so I am stuck for a bit until that gets resolved or I would test it in the new pfsense plus too. I am stuck at a red light right now waiting for that green light to update.

@JonathanLee Thanks for the copy. I have switched to EnforceGate vX, weeks ago. They continuously patch Squid for security fixes and their version are way more secure. It's like Squid++ with a web firewall combined. The only quirk is that it has not been tested for netgate distribution.

@JonathanLee Looks like 7.2. There is one image that is 7.6 but I wouldn't trust my proxy to some rando, and I sure as hell wouldn't trust the one from the Russian guy.

@e3prom Dockerhub has several Squid images, none of them official. The most legit is likely the Ubuntu one. The least legit is some guy named b4tman from Russia, with an image that hasn't been updated in 3+ years.

@JonathanLee I don't watch a lot of movies so it took me awhile to get this. Is that Mickey Rourke from Iron Man 2?

jumping in: the glowing 'heart' in the middle of the chest and racing cars cut up by his wips -> I'd say so.

@patient0 I've actually seen that movie (which is rare for me) and still wasn't sure. The last movie I saw in a theatre was Dumb and Dumber Too (2014) and before that was Star Wars Clone Wars (2008), then Spiderman (2002). I've seen 3 movies in a theatre in the past 24 years. The last movie I watched at home was Avengers: Infinity Wars which I fell asleep through. Couldn't be bothered to watch the 3.5 hour long sequel.

@patient0 Well, that plus the movies are crap and everything costs a fortune for a lousy experience. The theatres are too loud, too cold, too dirty and are packed with too many idiots with too many phones who don't know how to behave in public. No thanks.
