My office hosts a single Netgate 8200MAX and I've had an approval to add a second device and will setup CARP on the 2 units. Does Netgate have a list of known working 10GbE SFP+ modules and DAC cables somewhere or offer these on their products page? I seem to recall seeing DAC cables provided by Netgate, but can't see them now.

I was thinking about adding a QSFPTek 0.5m Intel DAC (thinking Intel would be a safe option ) https://www.qsfptek.com/product/100560.html

I've been liaising with QSFPTek.com support team and they've been very helpful and have stated the Intel branded DAC cables should work "out of the box". They provide MBR details and a 5 year repair warranty on their DAC cables, which I believe is a solid warranty option. However the proof is in the pudding... I have ordered the DAC cables and will post an update on the functionality when I can.

Sorry, I found the DAC cables under "All Products / Accessories" https://shop.netgate.com/collections/all-products/facet_product_accessory

I'm still keen to see whether the Intel DAC from QSFPTek would still be an option. Their DAC cables have a 5 free repair service so I'm thinking they're not a product that typically fails early in it's life.
