Hello Everyone, I am Emmanuel Katto. My Netgate device is not responding to pings or other network requests. What are some common causes of this issue and how can I troubleshoot it?

Check the network settings, IP addresses and mask on pfSense and the device, you want to access from.Note that access is only allowed on LAN interface out of the box.
After you try to ping the pfSense LAN IP you should see it in the ARP table of your device.

Which Netgate device do you have?
Does it respond at the console?
